Tiger Care

Inspired by RIT's mascot, the tiger, we named this mental health app Tiger Care. This project was born from the challenges students faced during the pandemic. With many mental health clinics limiting in-person appointments, the number of students experiencing psychological difficulties increased due to sudden changes in their environment. Tragically, the semester began with the loss of an alumnus to suicide in the dormitories, which deeply impacted the community.

Motivated to make a difference, my teammate Sicheng Liu and I designed Tiger Care, an app tailored for Rochester Institute of Technology students. The app focuses on providing accessible mental health resources and support.

My contributions to the project included user research, creating visual strategies, designing the logo and illustrations, prototyping the app, and editing videos to promote the app. Through Tiger Care, we aim to support students' mental well-being and foster a more connected and supportive campus environment.
